Acute lower back pain is most often caused by injury to the muscles, ligaments, and joints as a physiological reaction to intense physical exercise. Sometimes, due to obesity, stress, osteoporosis, or spondylolisthesis, a sudden movement could easily overload the back muscles. When the muscles are unable to contract properly to protect the spine, it can result in overstretching or tearing of the muscles and ligaments. In severe cases, the disc in the low back area of the spine may herniate.<\/p>

Chronic lower back pain is most often associated with discs problem relating to prolonged poor posture, degeneration of the lumbar spine, and nerve root compression, resulting in persistent pain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Different areas of pain will need to be managed accordingly. The therapies include physiotherapy, and occupational therapy. Chiropractic manipulation helps to improve the structure of the spine, and break the vicious cycle of chronic pain.
